How do you ensure that if someone visits a page, that they have entered the password first?

For some reason, the text box won't allow you to type in it. Could it possibly be that I'm using CS3 flash/actionscript 2.0? If so, what in the script has to be altered to make this function properly? Thank you!!!

This works better if you have an input text box somewhere on the page (not in the movie clip with the script, but aside from it) and a button with the above scripting.
