Some of these are even available through AS2 (I know, I built one). It also does not always make sense to use an XML file. While this may make updating a .swf easier, it has a particular drawback as well: most designers have a much easier time selecting a parameter from a clip/sprite marked for export than they do creating an XML file.

The carousel is also rather primitive -- once again, one can build a better one in AS2, which means that all possible AS3 resources have not been utilized. The carousel also includes a common bug -- the images at the back of the carousel appear further away from each other than the images at the front. This gives the feeling that not only are things moving further away, they are also moving "uphill." While this may not be a large bug and most will likely not see it, it is present enough that it will subtly bother a viewer. Further, its motion is entirely too clunky with very little feeling of acceleration.

The 3D gallery is distorted. It feels as if someone is looking at it through a concave lens. Additionally, not all of the icons are treated uniformly -- Halo 3, for example, does not always have an icon appear on MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER while Assasin's creed does. This may very well be a load issue, but if it is, then it has the appearance of a bug and in programming, the appearance of a bug IS a bug.

It also does not help that the website is rather slow (even if the effects do not bog down one's machine. Load time for the cube is longer than the load time for many You-tube videos and considering the size of the content that is more than excessive. Additionally, the examples provided by this company do not work "out of the box."<br/><br/>
